How much does MarqVision cost?

By Josh Pigford, founder of Knockoff. Written October 18, 2026

MarqVision doesn't show a price on any page it links to. You get a quote after a demo call. A price page it doesn't link to (it may be out of date) lists its cheapest plan, labeled "Detection Only", at $1,000 a month. Plans that include a set number of enforcements start at $2,000, on a standard contract that renews for 12 months at a time.

MarqVision is a Los Angeles company that finds copies of a brand's products on marketplaces, social sites and the open web, and gets them taken down. It says it's built for "brand protection, legal, and e-commerce leaders". If you need takedowns on copycat sites and social media, $2,000 a month is where it starts. And if Google's AI overview quoted you tens of thousands of dollars a year, that isn't a MarqVision price. Knockoff is $799 a month, files on every confirmed copy, and you can cancel any month.

Why doesn't MarqVision show a price?

Because it sells by quote. The address marqvision.com/pricing sends you to the home page, and the way to a quote on its site is "Request a Demo". The demo page says demos "typically take between 15 - 30 minutes". MarqVision talks to your team first, looks into how your brand is being copied, then works out "a customized solution" with you on the call. What you'll pay is written into an Order Form, and its terms of service say the fees are whatever that form lists.

That's how the top of this market works. MarqVision's 2026 buyer's guide says it plainly: "Most brand protection software is sold through custom annual contracts." The catch for a small brand is that you can't compare MarqVision with anything until you've sat through a call.

What does the $1,000 MarqVision plan include?

The unlinked price page lists three plans, each priced "Starts at" on a slider that rises with enforcement volume. MarqVision calls it a "volume-driven pricing model".

The cheapest, Essential, starts at $1,000 a month, with its slider set at "Detection Only". It covers up to 30 products on up to 10 marketplaces, with reports to those marketplaces. Social media and website takedowns aren't included. MarqVision pitches it at "emerging brands with small product portfolios".

Thirty products is a small catalog. A Shopify brand with a few hundred products, copied on other stores and on social media, has outgrown Essential before the demo starts.

The one buyer-side number fits that entry price. Vendr's buyer data shows a median of $12,000 a year for MarqVision, in a range of $6,500 to $12,600, without saying how many contracts that covers. That's a year of Essential at its starting price.

Which MarqVision plan files takedowns?

Advanced comes with 500 enforcements at its $2,000 starting price. The page doesn't say whether that's 500 a month or a year. Advanced also adds social media, notices sent straight to sellers, and website takedowns through "Google delisting, ISP notices, and registrant notices". Enterprise starts at $3,500 with 1,000 enforcements and adds apps such as TikTok.

MarqVision's plans as its unlinked price page lists them. Parts of that page disagree with each other, so confirm each line on a demo.

MarqVision's plans and what each starting price includes
Plan Starts at, a month Social media and website takedowns Enforcements at that price Products and marketplaces
Essential $1,000 Not included "Detection Only" Up to 30 products, up to 10 marketplaces
Advanced $2,000 Included 500 Unlimited
Enterprise $3,500 Included 1,000 Unlimited, plus apps such as TikTok

Two things to ask on the demo. First, what happens after the 500th enforcement. The plans are priced on volume, so a bad month of copies can mean a bigger plan. Second, copycat stores. A copy of your store on its own domain is an independent website, and the price page lists independent websites as an add-on. A MarqVision blog guide says it automates detection and takedown "across Shopify, Amazon, and other platforms", but its product pages never mention Shopify. Ask what removing a copy on a Shopify store would add to your quote.

Where does the $25,000 to $100,000 figure come from?

It's a range for brand protection software in general, not a MarqVision price. Google's AI overview for "marqvision pricing" gives it for growth-stage programs, "according to industry and buyer research guides". The same range appears in MarqVision's own buyer's guide: "Growth-stage programs typically range from $25,000 to $100,000 annually." The line just before it is closer to its own price page: "Focused programs with a limited scope often fall below $2,000 per month." At their starting prices, MarqVision's plans come to $12,000 a year for Essential, $24,000 for Advanced and $42,000 for Enterprise. Only Enterprise lands inside that range, and that's before any add-ons. Knockoff's $799 a month comes to $9,588 a year.

Only MarqVision Enterprise reaches the $25,000 to $100,000 range, before add-ons Yearly cost of each MarqVision plan at its starting price, and of Knockoff's one plan, on one axis from zero to 100,000 dollars. A shaded band from 25,000 to 100,000 dollars marks the growth-stage range quoted by Google's AI overview and by MarqVision's buyer's guide. Knockoff: $9,588. MarqVision Essential: from $12,000. MarqVision Advanced: from $24,000. MarqVision Enterprise: from $42,000, the only bar inside the band. MarqVision prices are starting prices from a price page it does not link to, read October 2026, before add-ons. What a year costs at each starting price $0 to $100,000 a year. Shaded: the $25,000 to $100,000 range in MarqVision's guide Knockoff $9,588 MarqVision Essential from $12,000 MarqVision Advanced from $24,000 MarqVision Enterprise from $42,000 MarqVision: starting prices, before add-ons. Knockoff: one plan, one price. As of October 2026.

AI assistants don't do better. In Knockoff's October test, we asked ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Mode 20 questions a brand owner asks when choosing protection, three times each. MarqVision was named in 87 of the 240 answers, and only 5 gave a dollar figure for it or for a group of vendors that named it, from "$25 per feature/month" to "$5,000+ per month". The two that priced MarqVision alone cited a software directory and a review site, not MarqVision.

Can you cancel a MarqVision contract?

Not partway through, under its standard terms. MarqVision's terms of service, updated May 28, 2026, let the agreement end early only if both sides agree in writing, if one side materially breaks it and doesn't fix that within 30 days of notice, or if one side faces a bankruptcy petition or is dissolved. Otherwise it runs to the end of its term and is "automatically renewed for successive Twelve (12) month periods" unless you give notice "at least thirty (30) days before the end".

The money is fixed too. "All Fees are based on the Services purchased and not actual usage, and are non-refundable," so you pay for the enforcements you bought whether or not you use them. Fees "may be revised upon the renewal" of each term. On a contract longer than 12 months, they rise "by up to seven percent (7%)" on each anniversary unless the Order Form says otherwise. And the Order Form is part of the agreement and its fee terms win over the standard ones, so read it for the term length, the notice date and the renewal price before you sign.

None of this is unusual for a quote-only vendor. BrandShield's posted terms make fees non-refundable too, as our BrandShield review covers. If you do sign, put the notice date in your calendar that day.

What would Knockoff cost for the same job?

MarqVision is sold the way enterprise brand protection usually is: a demo call and a contract that renews itself. Knockoff is a signup form and $799 a month, and we do the filing. We find copies of your product photos and file a takedown on every confirmed one as your authorized agent. Here's how that sits next to Advanced.

MarqVision's side is from its price page, changelog and terms of service. Knockoff's is from our pricing page and terms.

Knockoff is for a Shopify brand whose product photos keep turning up in other people's listings and who wants those copies gone without becoming the paralegal. You sign one Letter of Authorization. After that there's no monthly cap on what we file, and weak cases are never filed. To get started we need your store's domain and the signed letter, not an API key or access to your admin. Then we scan your whole catalog every day, with no product limit.
